Sports Champions Of Greater Atlanta

Our 10th Annual Banquet was held on May 9, 2013 at 6:45 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. We were pleased and excited to have as our speaker this year, Mr. Steve Robinson, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Mr. Wes Durham as our emcee. Founded in 2002, the Sports Champions of Greater Atlanta is an organization that honors High School athletes – both young men and women, and coaches. The athletes are honored on the basis of their performance in athletics, scholastics and character. The coaches are selected on the basis of their teams' success and positive influence in their community. We also provide financial support for under-funded school teams in the Greater Atlanta area (Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties).

At the Sports Champions of Greater Atlanta, we believe that sports and life are connected in many powerful and tangible ways. We also believe that the young athletes of today need our support and encouragement more than ever before.

As a 501(C)(3) organization, we are committed to our strong belief that when scholastics, athletics and character are combined the right way, everyone wins.
